APTA Maryland developed this scholarship to recognize PT and PTA students from diverse backgrounds who are instrumental in advancing DEI within their academic program and or APTA Maryland.

The scholarship supports the Chapters’ strategic plan on creating a more inclusive association that better reflects those whom we serve.

Each scholarship is $2,000.

Funding for this program is made possible by the chapter’s implicit bias course revenue  and voluntary contributions.
