Student Delegate Appointments
Requirements
The Chapter funds 1 SPT and 1 SPTA to participate in the Association’s House of Delegates
- Be a member of APTAMD
- Attend the House July 21-22 in Kansas City, MO
- Attend Delegation Meetings
- Student Delegate Orientation early March
- Teleconference in March and June
- End of May face to face in a Central Location

Responsibilities of the Maryland Student Delegates
Our student PT and PTA delegates work with the Maryland delegates as we prepare for the House meeting. This gives the students a great opportunity to learn more about the Chapter, the Association and the profession. Their responsibilities include:
- After returning home, sharing their thoughts about their experiences by submitting articles for the August issue of Maryland PT, the Chapter newsletter.
- Talk to students at the next Maryland Student Conclave about your experience.
