About The Program
The University of Maryland School of Medicine Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy is dedicated to graduating physical therapists who have achieved advanced aptitude of skills, knowledge, and critical thinking in OMPT to develop leaders in clinical practice, research, service, and patient care for the citizens of Maryland and beyond.
Our program provides comprehensive manual OMPT training orthopaedic training for conditions ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics in a collaborative, collegial, and supportive environment with physical therapists, occupational therapists, MDs, and DOs among other aspects of health care.
During our 13-month fellowship, Fellows in Training work one-on-one with our dedicated faculty members treating a very diverse patient population and diagnoses.
