Physical Therapy Orthopaedic Residency Program

Anne Arundel Medical Group (AAMG) Physical Therapy’s Orthopaedic Residency program is a 13-month program, beginning in December of each year. Residents will evaluate and treat patients up to 36 hours per week and complete coursework and professional development at least eight hours per week. Our program allows residents to practice and learn in a hospital-based community health system with exposure to a variety of conditions, with multi-disciplinary team work and shadowing. As hospital employees, residents will have access to employee benefits and a competitive resident salary. Both distance and onsite learning will provide specialty level skills for advanced thinking and patient care. Learning opportunities will include cadaver dissections in the Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC) SAIL Center, manual skills labs, and physician and surgery shadowing. Residents will also complete a quality outcomes research project to be presented and/or published at the conclusion of the residency program.
