Board of Examiners Application

The APTA Maryland has been asked by the Governor’s Appointment Office (GAO) to recommend Maryland licensed PTs and PTAs  who are diverse, energetic, enthusiastic, and who can meet the time commitment required.

The Maryland Department of Health is requesting that the APTA of Maryland submit a list of nominees by March 1 annually.

How it Works
  • Complete the information sheet below for APTAMD Board review.
  • The Board will review all applications by February 1.
  • If approved for recommendation, you will complete the GAO online application and  the Appointee Exemption Disclosure form.  The State Ethics Commission highly recommends that applicants request exemptions for employment on the AED form and request a financial disclosure exemption if they or co-own a business.
