Speaker: Linda B. Horn, PT, DSc, MHS, NCS is the Safe Strides Team Leader for Gentiva Health Services in Maryland. Her clinical experience includes acute care, outpatient and home care. She is a Neurologic Certified Specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association since 1993. She has over 24 years of experience and her primary area of expertise is balance and vestibular disorders in the adult population, particularly with older adults. Linda is also an adjunct instructor at the University of Maryland Baltimore, where she graduated with her Physical Therapy degree. She received a Master of Health Science from the University of Indianapolis and a Doctor of Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore in 2007. She is active in the APTA on the Practice Committee for the Neurology Section and serves as the Federal Affairs Liaison for the section. She currently is the Director of Education for the APTA of Maryland.

Each member of the Chapter is a part of a district within the state of Maryland: Central, Eastern, Southern, and Western. Each district holds a minimum of 3 meetings per year including: educational events, networking sessions, special activities for PT month.
